Please join us for this session, led by Jerome Weaver, as he defines loss, the specific types of loss and its relationship to grief. This presentation discusses risk factors, symptoms, and interventions for complicated grief, identifying emotional, spiritual and physical effects and ways to assist the bereaved. It also addresses the importance of quality support, VITAS’ bereavement services, and the hospice team’s role.  This presentation offers 1 CE. 

About the presenter

Jerome Weaver has been in pastoral ministry for 25 years and with Vitas Healthcare for 19 years as a Chaplain, Community Liaison and Bereavement Services Manager.  He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Harvard University and Doctor of Ministry from United Theological Seminary.
